The Forecasting Company API

Docs MCP

Connect this to your AI client and it can search our documentation and ask questions about the API — so it answers from what is actually documented rather than from memory. Public, no authentication required.

Two tools are exposed:

search_forecasting_docs — semantic search, returns documentation extracts with source URLs.
ask_forecasting_expert — ask in plain language, returns a synthesised answer grounded in the docs.
